Undertaker’s SummerSlam Match Possibly Revealed
Back at WrestleMania 33, The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns in the main event and left his hat and gloves in the ring. This is a way that some wrestlers initiate their retirement. That’s what most fans thought happened, that The Undertaker retired.
Then at WrestleMania 34, The Undertaker destroyed John Cena in what was more of an angle than a match. WWE began a relationship with Saudi Arabia, leading to the Undertaker having three more matches. The last of those matches was a dream match of sorts against Goldberg. That dream match turned into a nightmare scenario when Goldberg and Undertaker botched moves that put themselves in danger. The match upset Undertaker so much that there was a supposed shouting match in the Gorilla position after the show went off the air.
This left a bad taste in the mouth of fans and wrestlers alike. With The Undertaker supposedly working more dates this year, his surprise appearance on Raw turned the speculation into reality.
WWE Extreme Rules is this weekend and The Undertaker will team with Roman Reigns to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. This is seemingly building to a blow off match with McIntyre and The Undertaker.
Summerslam is taking place in Toronto this year, which means people living in that area are receiving advertisements to entice fans to buy tickets to the show. One such advertisement eludes to the upcoming Drew McIntyre and Undertaker match being a casket match.
Now this advertisement was in May, and as we all know, plans change. But, with the way the story is being written leading up to the Biggest Show or The Summer, this match could very well be a possibility.
