A few weeks ago we saw the reformation of “The Club” as AJ Styles finally rejoined Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson after teasing the groups return for weeks.
Tonight at WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view AJ Styles faced Ricochet for the United States Championship, and with a little help from The Club, he was successful in defeating Ricochet and is the new US Champ.
According to a report from Brad Shepard, it looks like The Club is going to be getting a big push. It was said that The Club will not be portrayed as the “bumbling villains who constantly come up short as they have in the past – they will dominate.” In addition, it was also said that The Club will are “expected to have a run-in with the New Day, sooner than later.”
