At WWE Extreme Rules, Finn Balor was unable to retain his Intercontinental Title against Shinsuke Nakamura during the kickoff show. There seems to be a reason for this.
According to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Finn Balor recently request the company for a leave of two months in order to “recharge” and his request was granted. While the reason behind this request is not known to us, it is going to take place soon.
Balor’s hiatus from the company will reportedly begin in August. So it is expected that he will be taking a break after Summerslam is done with.
