MJF Signs Multi-Year Deal With All Elite Wrestling
MJF has accomplished a lot in his relatively short career. First training at Curt Hawkins and Pat Buck’s Create-A-Pro Wrestling school, then moving onto the indies before landing a major spot in Major League Wrestling. From there anyone who watched him knew he would be a major star on professional wrestling.
At just 23 years old, MJF was one of the first signed talents that AEW announced. MJF has already been featured in some storylines with the fledging company, most notably with Cody Rhodes. Cody has come across as a mentor to MJF, only seeing the good in him, while MJF is an asshole to every person he comes across unless it’s in front of Cody.
Just last night Cody and MJF teamed up in a match on AAA in a losing effort. Today AEW announced that they are extending MJF’s contract. Knowing what a force he will be for years to come, they locked MJF down for multiple years.
Look for AEW to continue to push MJF and for Maxwell to be featured in a main event role in the coming years.
