WWE SDLive House Show Event Draws Horrendous Crowd
It has been no secret that WWE’s Live Event attendance has been poor over the last few months. WWE has attempted to combat low attendance numbers by offering buy-one-get-one free deals on tickets, discounted ticket prices, and even using the “wild card” rule to hopefully boost ticket sales by bringing in Superstars from the other brand.
Last night WWE held their special RAW Reunion episode from Tampa, Florida, taking place at the same time just down the road was a WWE SmackDown Brand Live Event in Fort Myers, Florida. As you might expect, the event did not draw well going head to head against the special RAW Reunion edition of the program. Greg Parks, a PWTorch columnist attended the event in Fort Myers and posted a few pictures to his twitter account roughly five minutes prior to bell time showing an almost empty arena.
