Update On Paul Heyman’s Involvement – Fingerprints Reportedly All Over Last Night’s Episode Of RAW

It was announced earlier this month that Paul Heyman would be taking over duties as the new Executive Director of WWE Monday Night RAW. Since the announcement was made we have slowly began to see a more edgy product, and that now looks like it is directly connected to Paul Heyman’s influence on the show.

Last night’s episode of RAW saw a lot of edgier segments than what we have seen on the program over the last few years, from the WWE 24/7 Title angle where a pregnant Maria Kanellis won the belt, the Seth Rollins coughing up blood bit, and the Samoan Summit, were all said to be Paul Heyman segments.

Last night’s RAW was discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer noted that “the whole show was Paul Heyman segments.” It was stated that Heyman’s fingerprints were all over the entire broadcast, and that he will starting to gain more creative influence going forward which we saw happen this week.

The overall feeling is that last night’s episode of RAW went over well, and that everyone including fans seemed to have a positive reaction when everything was said and done. We will have to see if the ratings show the same once they are released.
