It looks like NXT’s move to FS1 is inevitable, and with the move will be the expansion of the show into a two-hour broadcast.
NXT Superstar Matt RIddle recently spoke to Fansided about the move to FS1. He expressed his excitement over the move, and explained how it would mean more exposure and more opportunities and a chance to expose NXT to a new audience.
“I think the more exposure NXT can get, the better. I think both NXT and Raw are both talent-based. I think it’s gonna be good overall. It’s another viewing aspect of professional wrestling and sports entertainment. I think it’s gonna excel. With more eyes and more views, it’s gonna get bigger and better and brighter.”
We will have to wait and see exactly when WWE makes the move and puts NXT on FS1, but with SmackDown moving to the main Fox Network in October it wouldn’t be surprising to see NXT find it’s way to FS1 shortly after.
