When Does Jon Moxley’s Current NJPW Deal Expire?
When Jon Moxley left WWE he surprised many by showing up at AEW’s Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas. It was then announced that the former WWE Superstar had signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling, his deal would also allow him to work for NJPW as well.
Moxley ended up winning the IWGP United States Championship from Juice Robinson (formerly CJ Parker in NXT) in his first non-WWE match. Moxley then declared that he was entering this year’s NJPW G1 Climax where he had an impressive showing, accumulating 10 points throughout the tournament.
AEW’s TV deal with TNT kicks off on October 2nd and Moxley is still the current IWGP US Champ, which has left many wondering how long his deal with NJPW is for.
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, Jon Moxley is under contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling through Wrestle Kingdom 14, which is scheduled to take place on January 4th from the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
