Prior to her arrival in WWE, Ronda Rousey had been filming her role in the movie Mile 22 starring Mark Wahlberg. This wasn’t Rousey’s first acting role and apparently isn’t her last.
It was reported earlier today via Deadline, that WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey will be starring as a regular cast member in the upcoming third season of the FOX Network drama “9-1-1.”
Rousey will play the role of Lena Bosko, who is described as a stoic and fearless member of Station 136 of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The third season revolves around the station and a tsunami that hits Santa Monica.
The third season of 9-1-1 premieres on Monday, September 23rd on FOX, shortly before WWE’s SmackDown Live makes a move to the same network beginning on October 4th.
