SPOILER: Johnny Gargano Addresses His NXT Future
Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole went to war last weekend at NXT TakeOver: Toronto in a two out of three falls match where each fall was contested under a different stipulation. With Adam Cole barely squeaking by and walking away the victor, there were a lot of questions about Johnny Gargano’s future.
Last night WWE held the next set of NXT TV Tapings at Full Sail University, and during the taping Johnny Gargano addressed his future with the company.

Gargano made his way down to the ring to address the fans at Full Sail University, he talked about how much he loves NXT and then went on to say that he has to make a choice about his future. He goes on to say that NXT is about putting on the best shows possible, and that he has made his choice.
But it was then that Gargano was interrupted by Shane Thorne. Thorne told Gargano that NXT will be just fine without him around, and with the right person in the spotlight that it will be even better without him. He then tells Johnny to go and take his bow and then take a walk.
Gargano responds to Thorne’s comments by saying that he is NXT and that he isn’t going anywhere. From there Johnny superkicks Shane Thorne and lays him out.

With rumors and reports of NXT’s impending move to FS1 once WWE’s deal with FOX kicks in, it may be a good idea for them to leave some of their top Superstars in NXT instead of bringing them up to the main roster to be lost in the shuffle.
