CFO$ No Longer Creating WWE’s Entrance Music

In the 80’s the main man creating the sounds of the WWE was Jimmy Hart. Being a musician as well as a wrestling personality, it was natural for Jimmy to combine both passions. Jimmy’s position behind the boards lasted until Jim Johnson took over.

If you grew up during the New Generation, Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era’s chances are, every wrestling entrance song that you liked was composed by Jim Johnston. From a The Ultimate Warrior to the Shield to everything in between. Jim Johnston’s brain and fingers are the things that created those sounds. That is until WWE brought in the duo of CFO$.

Jim was let go from the company a few years after CFO$ came aboard. Johnston has stated that it was under dubious circumstances and CFO$ being political that lost Jim his job. Nevertheless, we received songs like Finn Balor’s “Catch Your Breath”, Nakamura’s “Rising Sun”, Bobby Roode’s “Glorious Domination” and Sasha Bank’s “Sky’s The Limit”. It seemed that even though containing numerous loops, WWE theme songs were as catchy as ever. This partnership looked like it could last a decade or more, but alas I guess not.

Twitter account WrestleVotes tweeted out the other day that CFO$ is no longer in charge of creating music for the Superstars, and that the replacement musicians have not yet been named.

Not much else is known on the matter or when the other producers took over.
