Jim Ross Reveals What Triple H Said About CM Punk In WWE And A Reason He Wasn’t Championship Material

CM Punk has been on the tip of many fans tongues lately, due to his return to the pro wrestling world by doing a Q&A at Starrcast 3. Starrcast runs during AEW’s All Out weekend, but the two events are not in conjunction with one another.

Conrad Thompson, who promotes Starrcast, knows a thing or two about synergy, and had his podcast with Jim Ross, titled Grillin’ JR, focus on CM Punks time in WWE. When they got to the topic of CM Punk not being seen as championship material, Punk’s physical appearance was brought up numerous times. One of the weirder statements that JR heard can be seen below.

Conrad Thompson then asked Jim Ross who said Punk’s ass was too big.

Hunter! It’s all about the workout shit man, how he looked in an 8×10. He’s not gonna look the same because he’s not the same. And all you’re do is put out androids that look alike, then what the hell do ya got?

So there you have it. Triple H, who lost matches and championships multiple times to Mick Foley, who has one of the largest asses in the business, said CM Punk wasn’t championship material because his ass was too big.
