Yesterday we reported on BritWres referee Aaren Wilde maybe retiring due to injuries sustained at a RevPro show last weekend. The injury was sustained after the referee correctly did his job and counted three because Josh Bodom did not kick out of the pin attempt. Since that wasn’t the planned finish both Josh and his partner Sha Samuels best up the referee without prior consent.
The owner of RevPro released a statement via Twitter about the incident.
Since that post a fan video has shown what happened outside of the ring. The referee said it was all blurry after the initial slam by Sha in the ring, so he wasn’t sure what happened. But with this video we now know.
As you can see, it looks like clear intent to damage the referee. As of this writing neither Josh or Sha have commented on the matter.
