Before AEW’s first event Double or Nothing, there was a lot of talk about the partnership between All Elite Wrestling and Oriental Wrestling Entertainment. OWE is a wrestling company out of China that is headed by Cima. Cima is a signed talent to AEW and OWE is at the forefront of new wave wrestling.
Not much has been said about the partnership as of late, the rumor is that visa issues are holding the companies back from working together more. Kenny Omega happened to stop by an OWE event and team up with Cima and Shaolin Monk to wrestle a trios match against Onslaught and The Butcherman.
Hopefully having Kenny compete in OWE means that more OWE talent will be coming to AEW when they start their weekly television show in October.
