GLOW is a show on Netflix that is a scripted dramedy that follows a group of women and a couple men and their wrestling show. Originally GLOW was a show in the 80’s that focused on women’s wrestling. Most of the performers on the original show had no wrestling experience and worked very hard to hone their craft. The show featured outlandish characters and backstage skits, along with in ring action. The story was so fascinating that a scripted version of the inner workings of the show was created and distributed by Netflix. The first few seasons got rave reviews and enough viewers to keep it on Netflix.
It was announced today that Netflix renewed GLOW for a fourth season, but that the fourth season will be the last in the series. It’s comforting to know that the story will have a conclusion and we will find out what happens to all the characters involved.
