NXT debuted on the USA network this week, with the first hour on USA and the second hour of the show on WWE Network. October 2nd is the date that NXT will go two hours on USA. On the same date All Elite Wrestling will debut on TNT with a two hour show as well. A Wednesday night war is what many fans are calling it.
Because of this “war” there are already some words thrown back and forth between roster members of AEW and NXT. Since NXT has aired, it has received mostly positive reviews. Alex McCarthy tweeted out that he spoke with the Young Bucks and asked for their thoughts on the NXT show.
Nick: “It was a fun show. But 10 weeks from now, those fans might get tired. It happened with IMPACT [doing a show from the same studio].
Matt: “I’m rooting for them, I want them to have a good show. Ours is just going to be better.”
