If something involves actual law enforcement in wrestling, it seems that the angle can only run for a day or two tops before the air has to be cleared.
Most recently was Chris Jericho’s AEW Championship that went missing. Jericho and AEW tried to make it into an angle about a worldwide manhunt for the championship, but hours after the video was shared, the Tallahassee police went on Facebook saying they found the championship.
Now the video of Lacey telling a police officer that he is a nasty and he shouldn’t give her a ticket because of who she is, is a blown angle. It appears there was some backlash from the video so Lacey had to break out of her character to share what really happened.
Lacey Evans real name is Macey Estrella, which is why the statement ends with “Sgt Estrella”.
