Big E is one of the most charismatic stars in WWE, with many fans saying that he will one day or should already be WWE Champion. Holder of the longest tag team championship reign record with The New Day, Big E is already hall of fame bound less than a decade into his career.
Big E was interviewed by Fightful recently below are the highlights
Opening up his Twitter DMs
Horrible idea. It was Woods’ idea and I regretted it immensely,” Big E told Fightful. “It was just too much. It was too much. I had fun during my hiatus a little bit. Someone asked me for a picture of myself and I sent them a picture of my nipple, ‘cause it was funny to me at the time. But then the internet can swallow you whole if you allow it to. I like to dabble. Actually I do more than dabble, I have a bit of a problem. I’m on my phone way to much.”
Xavier Woods being “fake blind”:
“Oh, he did have glasses, didn’t he? He was trying to look more erudite, know what I mean? Weren’t they like the Malcom X [specs]? That boy can see well. In fact he has Lasik. He’s had Lasik for years!”
Defending his finishing move to detractors:
“Yeah, and like, how does shooting someone into the ropes and having them come back work? How does any of this work? Like, it’s an RKO to the body. It’s a body cutter, that’s all it is. And people love the RKO. Are necks being broken during the RKO? Are guys being knocked out unconscious because—what are we doing? Just be entertained. If you don’t like it, watch something else. It’s fine!”
