Recent Altercation Between Goldberg & Dolph Ziggler Reportedly Leading To Another WWE Appearance

We previously reported on the altercation that went down recently in Las Vegas between WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler and WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg, as a video surfaced online showing the two face to face having heated words with one another.

Ziggler has since commented on the video, in which he called Goldberg a “dipsh*t”. This led fans to wonder whether or not the altercation was staged or if there was some legit heat between the two, well it looks like we can finally put that debate to bed as it appears as though the whole thing is indeed a work.

According to a report from PWInsider, the current expectation backstage in WWE is that the altercation in Las Vegas between Goldberg and Dolph Ziggler will be used to setup and build up an upcoming appearance on SmackDown Live for the former Universal Champ and WWE Hall of Famer.

“The expectation of those we’ve spoken to backstage is that the Bill Goldberg-Dolph Ziggler deal in Las Vegas is an angle to build to a Goldberg appearance, obviously.”

Looks like we can expect another program between Dolph Ziggler and Bill Goldberg once SmackDown Live moves to FOX next month, as the two appear to be continuing their feud which previously led to a match back in August at SummerSlam.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about the altercation between Goldberg and Ziggler, or plans or Goldberg to return to SmackDown.
