Former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger Being Saved For A Possible AEW Surprise
AEW’s weekly television program Dynamite kicks off this Wednesday night on TNT. With WWE moving NXT to Wednesday’s on the USA Network, the new Wednesday Night Wars are about to be in full swing and it sounds like AEW may have some surprises in store to keep fans tuned in.
According to a new report from Sports Illustrated, former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger, now going by his real name Jake Hager, is possibly been saved as a big surprise for All Elite Wrestling’s debut on TNT this Wednesday.
“In other wrestling news, a potential surprise for AEW’s premiere on TNT, Sports Illustrated has learned, is Jake Hager, better known from his WWE run as Jack Swagger. An ardent Trump supporter and legitimate big guy, Hager would fit in nicely as a villain for the promotion. He would also add depth to the card, and his work in Bellator MMA could have crossover appeal for AEW.”
Hager has previously spoken about All Elite Wrestling and teased a possible run with the company. So we will have to wait and see if Swagger shows up on AEW TV soon.
