Rapper and wrestling enthusiast Wale is set to accompany the Street Profits tonight for their NXT tag team championship match.
Wale is no stranger to wrestling, he most recently appeared on WWE television as a 205 Live guest commentator and was the host of the rap battle between The New Day and The Uso’s. Wale also throws the Walemania party during WrestleMania weekend and one of his songs is the theme song to MLW Fusion.
The rapper took to Twitter to announce his involvement in NXT, which was later picked up by WWE.com
NXT’s live two-hour premiere on USA Network tonight is the hottest ticket in sports-entertainment, and now Grammy-nominated rapper Wale is getting in on the fun!
Wale revealed on Twitter that he’ll be appearing tonight alongside The Street Profits, who will challenge The Undisputed ERA for the NXT Tag Team Championships during the NXT spectacular.Wale’s sixth album, “Wow…That’s Crazy,” releases on Oct. 11.

Not only is WWE bringing in celebrities to counter program against AEW but Wale is also using the NXT platform to promote his upcoming album.
