King: 2019 Hell In A Cell Predictions

I am still shocked that WWE Hell In A Cell is less than twenty-four hours away from being that there only four matches announced for the event. All of the time and attention was placed on Friday Night Smackdown’s debut episode on FOX which has left little time to build towards the pay-per-view.

There is two hell in a cell match on the card and one will most-likely live up to the nature of the match. The Fiend Bray Wyatt challenges Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship, and The Boss Sasha Banks challenges The Man Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship inside hell in a cell. The Kickoff show at 6 p.m. EDT and the main card beginning at 7 p.m. EDT. So, without further ado let’s dive right in.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan VS. Erick Rowan and Luke Hatwen

On September 4th episode of SmackDown Live, Rowan finally admitted to being the culprit behind the attacks on Roman Reigns and then chokeslammed his so-called friend Daniel Bryan for over a year. At Clash of Champions, Luke Harper made his return to help with his former Bludgeon Brother leaving Bryan and Roman to join forces to battle the dangerous duo.

The WWE Universe has welcomed Bryan back with open arms during his face turn by default. This could end two ways: Bryan and Roman come out on top and gain an impressive victory or, this turns out to be a perfectly-orchestrated trap for The Big Dog. I’m personally not ready for Bryan to turn into the fan-favorite again not yet anyway.

Prediction: No Contest

(SmackDown Women’s Championship) Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair

At Clash of Champions Bayley slithered away with her SmackDown Women’s Championship after cleverly cheating to retain against Charlotte Flair. For several weeks all Four-HorseWomen have been tearing each other apart in incredible tag team matches on both Raw and SmackDown Live. Bayley’s recent heel turn alongside her best-friend Sasha Banks has been exactly what her huggable character needed.

I don’t believe this match is even about Flair winning the Women’s Title but, what dirty trick is Bayley going to pull out of her sleeve next and who better to mirror than The Dirtiest Player in the Game’s Daughter? Last time she used an exposed turnbuckle to keep the title in her grips what is she going to do on Sunday?

Prediction: Bayley

(Raw Women’s Championship) Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks (Hell in a Cell Match)

Credit: WWE

For months The Man had lost some momentum following some lackluster storylines until The Boss made her return. Now I feel like Becky is hotter than hell and you have to thank Banks for that. At Clash of Champions, Banks won by disqualification after Becky inadvertently struck the official with a steel chair. The fight was far from over as The Man and The Boss engaged in one of the most chaotic brawls all over the arena.

On Sunday these two competitors take their heated rivalry to a place that’s so sadistic inside Hell in a Cell. The Boss actually has the upper hand though, as she competed in the first-ever women’s hell in a cell match. Don’t mistake that for The Man not knowing what it takes to crank up the violence to keep her Raw Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for Becky, I see both Banks and Bayley hoisting both Women’s Championships after it’s all said and done.

Prediction: Winner and new Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks

(Universal Championship) Seth Rollins VS. The Fiend Bray Wyatt (Hell in a Cell)

WWE has seriously backed themselves in a corner here, they’ve given The Fiend a mega-push to the World Championship picture that it feels like he’s all but confirmed to walk out with the Universal Title on Sunday. Wyatt has been killing it with his twisted and creepy Firefly Funhouse segments and the WWE Universe myself included are loving it. I honestly don’t remember a character that has received as much of a push as Wyatt has received.

The Kingslayer just became a two-time Universal Champion after slaying the beast for a second time at Extreme Rules. At Clash of Champions, Rollins became The Monsterslayer after defeating The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman and retaining his title.

Rollins has never faced anyone as scary as The Fiend and now we have to ask ourselves if Rollins knows what he’s getting into? Does The Kingslayer have what it takes to “adapt and prevail” as he claims he must do to survive? I believe the answer is no and WWE has chosen to go ALL-IN with The Fiend. Another key element to this is that Rollins the leader of Team Hogan for Crown Jewel. Wyatt truly deserves it after being criminally mistreated for so long.

I would love to see The Fiend versus The Monster Among Men for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 that would be amazing. You want to know how to make Raw the A show again, have The Fiend terrorizing everyone as the Universal Champion!!

Prediction: Winner and new Universal Champion The Fiend Bray Wyatt
