King: The Fiend Should Interfere On Friday
WWE made a blockbuster announcement earlier today that The Universal Champion Seth Rollins (representing Raw) will go one-on-one with The Big Dog Roman Reigns (representing Smackdown) in the opening match on Friday Night Smackdown this week.
The former Shield-mates will do battle once again for the first-time-ever on FOX with huge bragging rights on the line. While there’s no question that Rollins versus Roman will be another outstanding match, this is the perfect opportunity for “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to strike to continue his feud with Rollins.
By now you’re well aware of the atrocious ending to Rollins and The Fiend’s Hell in a Cell match this past Sunday. Wyatt got the last laugh after he hit a brutal Sister Abigail on the Universal Champion on the exposed hard floor to close out the pay-per-view. Twenty-four hours later WWE sent out a tweet that was deleted as quickly as it was posted.
With the rumors circulating that FOX was gunning for The Fiend to be on the blue brand, it would make sense for him to viciously attack Rollins to further the story of The Fiend not finished with him. What would make the moment even more special is if Roman tries to come to Rollins’ aid and has an encounter with The Fiend as well.
Throughout the years, Rollins and Roman have had numerous matches against each other and with WWE looking at both men as potential first draft picks I don’t feel there should be a decisive winner with so much riding on it and at the expense of the Universal Champion taking a clean loss. What do you think should happen? I’d love to hear what you think about their match.
