EXCLUSIVE: WWE Superstars Say That They Are Never Going Back To Saudi Arabia
As we have been reporting, there was an incident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, which resulted in WWE Superstars and Staff Members plane being detained and kept from taking off.
It was reported that Vince McMahon was involved in an altercation of sorts with the Prince of Saudi Arabia over money that is owed to WWE. It has since been reported that the amount of money owed to WWE could be as much as seven figures.
During Thursday’s WWE Crown Jewel PPV broadcast, it has been reported that Vince McMahon ordered the Saudi Arabian PPV feed to be cut off in the middle of the event. This of course angered the Prince of Saudi Arabia, who ordered that the plane which was carrying the WWE Employees be grounded and that they were not to be allowed to leave the country.
After speaking with a source who was on the Saudi trip, we reported that many on the WWE Roster felt that they were kept in Saudi Arabia against their will as a “power play”.
In another update to the story, after speaking to a source within WWE who was on the trip to Saudi Arabia, there are many WWE Superstars who have said that they “will never go back” to the country again following the incident and detaining in Saudi Arabia.
We will keep you updated as more continues to come out regarding the incident in Saudi Arabia.
