Cain Velasquez Was Held In Saudi Arabia Along With Rest Of WWE Employees

We keep learning more details about the incident in Saudi Arabia last week involving nearly 200 WWE Superstars and Staff who were held against their will. Many on the roster have said that they felt deserted by Vince, and that they will never go back to the country again.

On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the situation and reported that one of the nearly 200 people left behind in Saudi Arabia was the former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez.

“Cain I know was there because Cain — if he got home it was just today because Cain landed this morning or afternoon so I know that he stayed with the rest of the crew which is another interesting story with how Cain was portrayed.”
