A couple weeks back Brock Lesnar put RAW Announcer Team member Dio Maddin through a table, and Maddin has been absent from the broadcast since. On this past week’s episode of RAW, WWE Superstar Samoa Joe filled in for him, leaving many to wonder what is going on with Dio Maddin.
According to a report from PWInsider, there is nothing going on with Dio Maddin and that he is still part of the RAW Announce Team. The reason that WWE has kept him of RAW has been to help sell the attack from Brock Lesnar.
“For those who have asked, Dio Maddin is still, as of today, officially part of the Raw broadcast team.
He is currently off TV selling the Brock Lesnar attack.”
So you can expect to see Dio Maddin return to the RAW announce desk and rejoin the team soon.
