During the recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Vince McMahon is “furious” over the fact that Seth Rollins mentioned CM Punk in his promo during RAW.
During the promo on RAW, Seth responded to the crowd chanting for CM Punk with the following:
“I tried to get that guy here, I’m sorry. He didn’t wanna show up. He wants to sit behind a desk in Los Angeles and talk about a change that he’s too afraid to make himself.”
CM Punk is currently signed to FOX and their WWE Backstage show as a special correspondent.
Meltzer has stated that there’s a rule in WWE in which talent cannot tease matches that will cann0ot deliver on. Meltzer did speculate however that there is a possibility that Vince is just working everyone but acting heated over the situation in which in actuality himself and Rollins spoke about it before it happened.
