WWE hired Eric Bischoff as the Executive Director of SmackDown a while ago and it was the talk of the town. However, he was fired within four months.
Bischoff spoke to Fightful, where he revealed he was never hired for a role in WWE creative. He said he had no part in the Roman Reigns’ mystery attack storyline. He was hired to “manage the process.”
“I wasn’t hired necessarily to takeover creative. I was brought up more to manage the process. And that was clear to me in the beginning. None of the creative that you saw had anything to do with me, good or bad.”
Eric Bischoff is busy in his other ventures, especially with his 83 Weeks podcast. He is also slated to appear at Starrcast IV.
