According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Mauro Ranallo has informed WWE officials that he will be at this Wednesday’s episode of NXT.
Mauro was last seen at NXT Takeover: War Games III and was supposed to call the action for Survivor Series as well but WWE told fans that Mauro had “blown out his voice”, Mauro also missed last weeks episode of NXT as well.
Ranallo was criticized by Corey Graves on Twitter and stated that Mauro wasn’t letting Nigel McGuinness and Beth Phoenix get a word in during the broadcast. Graves also stated that Mauro was making too many Chicago rap references during the event.
Graves eventually did apologize for the tweets about Mauro on the After the Bell podcast and stated since the duo were to commentate a match together at Survivor Series he was attempting to start an angle between the two.
Mauro has deleted his social media accounts and has not come back yet.
