Seth Rollins Believes Match with CM Punk Won’t Happen, Exhausted All His Energy
Seth Rollins recently appeared on the latest episode of WWE Backstage and discussed the whole CM Punk situation. Rollins had called CM Punk out on Twitter, in interviews, and even addressed “CM Punk” chants at the beginning of RAW in Chicago.
Punk didn’t seem in any hurry to face Seth Rollins and told Rollins to delete Twitter and look for relevancy elsewhere.
Rollins said the following about CM Punk while on WWE Backstage:
“I’m here, he’s not here. I’m not shocked about that. I think I’ve exhausted all my energy on the subject. I don’t think it’s going anywhere. I think it’s time to maybe move on to something that matters. I wish he was here, I wish we could have a face-to-face. But it’s not in the cards
Rollins also discussed the WWE Universe turning on him in recent months:
“[Hell in a Cell] was a tipping point. The Sacramento crowd, they were unhappy. They didn’t like what was going on. And I was the guy to eat the brunt of that. I’m the guy that’s gotta sit out there, having to deal with those chants. It goes viral, people see it, and it comes back on me. It started there, but I had a Twitter exchange with Will Ospreay that turned people the wrong way. I don’t know if there’s one thing you can point to.”
