WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is retired from in-ring competition, but rumors suggest that he might be making a return. While he has publicly denied his returning, it is still something people continue to discuss.
On the latest audio update of PW Insider Elite, Mike Johnson talked about Edge’s current status. He has signed a new deal which might lead one to believe it will be more than just a non-wrestling role.
“We’ve been told that Edge signed a new deal. We’ve been told that it has a very nice upside to it financially and you have to think it’s not just a legends deal where they just have him show up and have him do promos. So, I think there’s more smoke to the fire with Edge than there is with Paige as we record this.”
With Wrestlemania approaching, it is a wonder what WWE will do. There is always the chance Edge might make a surprise appearance during this year’s Royal Rumble.
