This week’s episode of NXT finished with a women’s battle royal in order to determine the #1 contender for Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Title. An unexpected return took place during the match.
Kacy Catanzaro made her return to the ring during the match to a big ovation. She reportedly had suffered an injury and was taking time off. Rumors suggested she was retiring from professional wrestling, but thankfully that did not happen.
Kacy’s boyfriend Ricochet also talked about her injury in the past. Some thought she gave WWE her notice, but now she is back on NXT television.
