The road to Wrestlemania will officially begin with the Royal Rumble this Sunday. It seems Jeff Hardy will not be able to return to WWE in time.
Hardy is away from the company in order to focus on his health and take care of personal problems. According to a report by PW Insider, Hardy has another court date regarding the DUI arrest. The new hearing will be on April 6th, which is a day after Wrestlemania.
WWE will apparently not bring Jeff back until he deals with all of his legal issues. Owing to the court date, it is likely Jeff will be missing this year’s Wrestlemania.
His WWE contract is also frozen as he is sitting at home, while his brother Matt’s contract will be expiring in a few weeks.
