On Sunday night Charlotte Flair won the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Charlotte appeared on RAW last night to talk about her victory in the Women’s Rumble Match, but didn’t reveal which champion she plans to challenge at WrestleMania 36.
It looks as though the Champion that Charlotte will be challenging might now be whom people think. It is being reported by PWInsider that Charlotte Flair is booked to be at Full Sail for Wednesday’s WWE NXT taping.
“PWInsider.com is told that Charlotte Flair is scheduled to be in Orlando, Florida for this week’s episode of WWE NXT.”
This could be an indication that the plan is for Charlotte Flair to challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania 36 instead of going after the RAW or SmackDown Titles.
It was also reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio by Dave Meltzer that the WrestleMania 36 match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley for the NXT Title is “on the books.” It was also mentioned that there are several other matches locked down for WrestleMania 36 as well.
With Charlotte Flair scheduled to appear in Orlando on NXT this Wednesday it looks as though we can expect to see the program between her and Ripley kick off.
