Results: NJPW The New Beginning USA: Durham, NC – 1/27/2020
New Japan Pro Wrestling held another stop on their New Beginning USA Tour Monday night in Durham, North Carolina. Attendance was estimated to be around 500.
Below are the results and brief recap of the event:
- Toru Yano, Colt Cabana and Tanahashi came out and took photos with a fan who was a young boy that had just recovered from a very serious illness.
- Yujiro Takahashi defeated Misterioso via Pimp Juice.
- Yuji Niigata and Satoshi Kojima defeated TJP and Alex Coughlin. Niigata scored the pinfall over Coughlin via a back suplex.
- Rocky Romero, Colt Cabana and Toru Yano defeated The Rock N’ Roll Express and Alex Zayne. Yano scored the pinfall via roll up on Zayne.
- Ring of Honor Star Marty Scurll made a surprise appearance. He came out to the ring and challenged Jay White for ROH’s SuperCard of Honor in Lakeland, Florida on April 4th.

- Jeff Cobb defeated Clark Connors via Tour of the Islands.
- Lance Archer defeated Ren Narita via EBD claw into a chokeslam.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi, YOSHI-HASHI, David Finlay & Juice Robinson defeated Jado, Chase Owens, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa
