An injury can happen at any moment in the world of professional wrestling, as we previously reported that AJ Styles is out indefinitely after suffering a separated shoulder during the Royal Rumble match when he took a spear from Edge.
It looks like Styles isn’t the only WWE Superstar to be out of action due to injury, as Kalisto also has been out with a shoulder injury.
According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Lucha House Party member Kalisto is believed to have suffered a separated shoulder in December while working a match against The Revival at a WWE Live Event house show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles late last year. The amount of time that Kalisto is expected to miss with his injury is not known, but it has been confirmed that he is in fact out of action with an injury.
“According to sources, the Lucha House Party member suffered a shoulder separation that does not require surgery at this time. It’s unclear, however, how long he’ll be unable to wrestle.
While we don’t have official confirmation on when the injury occurred, it would appear as though it happened during a live event at the Staples Center in December. The wrestler’s match that night against The Revival ended abruptly and Kalisto was checked out by WWE’s medical team afterward.”
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Kalisto’s injury status after suffering a reported separated shoulder.
