Conflicting Reports Regarding Samoa Joe’s WWE Suspension
Last night it was reported that there were more WWE suspensions coming for Superstars that violated the company’s Wellness Policy.
The twitter account Wrestle Votes broke the news that more suspensions were on the way, and then hinted that Samoa Joe was the next to receive a suspension for failing a drug test. However, it looks like WWE is denying the report.
According to a report from Fightful via their patreon page that “top staff” within WWE have “vehemently” denied the reports of Samoa Joe’s suspension.
“In regards to the rumors of possible suspensions coming in WWE, top staff within the company have vehemently denied Samoa Joe is suspended.”
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful then later expanded on his report, saying that they were not given an “official WWE denial” either.
“I wasn’t given an official WWE denial, just denials from people that work there. I’ve reached out to WWE on the record as well.”
