It looks like a top independent wrestling talent has signed a developmental deal with WWE.
According to a report from PWInsider, Timothy Thatcher has signed a developmental contract with WWE. Thatcher officially reported and started with the company this week.
Thatcher has been a veteran of many of the world’s top independent wrestling promotions, including EVOLVE, MLW, PWG, wXw in Germany, Rev Pro in England, just to name a few. Thatcher was said to have been on the radar of William Regal and Canyon Cemen’s over the last few years.
Thatcher, now 36 years old, had previously turned down offers to sign with WWE in the past. Thatcher’s presence at the WWE Performance Center was first reported by Squared Circle Sirens.
