We are currently on the road to Wrestlemania and WWE is planning big things for the grandest stage of them all. There is a possibility we might see a new challenger for the RAW Women’s Title next week.
Shayna Baszler is expected to have a role at Wrestlemania. She has not been featured on WWE television which could allude to the fact they are still making plans for her.
According to a report by Brad Shepard, Baszler might be appearing on next week’s RAW in Ontario. Becky Lynch will be defending her RAW Women’s Title against Asuka next week as well.
According to a source in #WWE, Shayna Baszler is scheduled to appear on #RAW this Monday in Ontario, California.
Apparently, WWE might add another Superstar to Baszler and Lynch’s feud, so it is not clear what the company will do in the end.
PWInsider also confirmed Shepard’s report, stating:
Shayna Baszler is slated to be at this Monday’s Raw taping in Ontario, CA, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The current plan is for Baszler to challenge Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 36, so this Monday appears to be when they will pull the trigger on starting that storyline.
Baszler, 39, debuted for WWE in 2017 and has been a cornerstone talent for the WWE NXT brand, including two WWE NXT Women’s Championship runs. The plan is for Baszler to shift to the Raw roster with this storyline.
