#1- Nyla Rose Wins the AEW Women’s Championship
Nyla Rose made history by defeating Riho via pinfall and becoming the new AEW Women’s Champion. Rose became the first ever transgender woman to win a world championship. While Nyla’s Title win has garnered several types of attention, good or bad, there’s no denying that Nyla Rose has become an unstoppable force in the Women’s Division of AEW.
#2- WWE announces site for next year’s WrestleMania
WrestleMania is going Hollywood next year! WWE announced that SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA will be the site for next year’s show of shows. SoFi Stadium is also the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers.
#3- Shayna Baszler attacks Becky Lynch on RAW
“The Queen of Spades” made her presence felt this past Monday Night on RAW, after attacking Becky Lynch after her match against Asuka. It was rumored that the former NXT Women’s Champion would have her sights set on “The Man” with a possible showdown at WrestleMania in the works. What we didn’t know was how far WWE would push the envelope by having Shayna bit Becky on the neck and draw blood. Many people on social media have assumed that this may be part of a “vampire” gimmick for her, let’s just hope that’s not the case. Just give us the Shayna vs Becky and move out of the way!
#4- PJ Hawx of WildKat Wrestling Takes Flight
Nothing like mixing a little bit of shopping and wrestling especially when Wildkat Wrestling’s running a weekend show at the Esplanade Mall. Check out PJ Hawx pull off an amazing flying cross body from the balcony of the second floor of the mall and this video went viral overnight. #5- MLW Champion Jacob Fatu takes sick back flip from Taurus at U4IA Professional Wrestling
