Samoa Joe suffered an injury to his head while filming a commercial. He had to shoot a table breaking spot, where he landed wrong. There was no confirmation whether Joe suffered a concussion, but it is to be assumed WWE does not release details regarding concussions.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Joe’s recent injury.
“Now here’s the thing. Now we’re on risky ground because now we’ve had two concussions in a short period of time and you know that’s when it becomes really concerning.”
Samoa Joe suffering two consecutive concussions in a short period of time is certainly concerning and it is a wonder what WWE will do with him. We hope he makes his in-ring return sooner rather than later.
