WWE is busy making plans for this year’s WrestleMania. John Cena will be appearing on WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week in Boston.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about what WWE might plan for Cena on Smackdown this week. As Cena will be making a rare appearance on WWE television, it is likely they will be doing his angle for WrestleMania.
“Friday in Boston they’re gonna do the John Cena angle. It’s been hinted to me, but it hasn’t been said to me that that’s what’s going to happen. It would make sense because I don’t anticipate John Cena doing a lot of TVs. So if they’re gonna shoot the angle it’s gonna be Friday, but it won’t be Elias because Elias is a babyface.”
Reports also suggested that all of the matches for Smackdown at WrestleMania are still up in the air. We will have to see what the company has in store for John Cena.
