Brian Pillman Jr. Offers Interesting Take On Cody’s New Tattoo

While Cody came up short in his match against MJF last night at Revolution most of the chatter during the match and for the rest of the night on social media was the very visible American Nightmare logo tattoo on Cody’s neck.

Cody’s new neck tattoo was met with positive and negative reaction from social media, not about the American Nightmare’s new ink, but rather the placement of it.

MLW star Brian Pillman Jr. had an interesting take in response to a fan who questioned why Cody would choose to get the American Nightmare logo tattoo on the side of his neck.

Simple. He's wearing it on his neck so it's always visible, can't be covered up easily. It's symbolic of him going "all-in" on his brand and his company and not having a backup plan. It means he's literally got his neck on the line for AEW and his family. SKIN IN THE GAME!!! https://t.co/7MpqXPbDtw

This was probably the best explanation and reasoning for Cody getting a tattoo on his neck. Cody is his own man and can get a tattoo wherever he wants, who are we to judge? But of course we always need to know why, and knowing Cody’s love for the wrestling business this wouldn’t seem too far fetched.
