WWE Elimination Chamber Match No Longer Taking Place
WWE Elimination Chamber will be taking place on March 8th, but it seems the card is still undergoing changes.
The company earlier promoted a men’s Elimination Chamber match for the pay-per-view. It also appeared on the Wells Fargo Arena website. However, it seems the match will no longer be taking place.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided confirmation that only two Elimination Chamber matches will take place. A tag team chamber match and a women’s chamber match.
It was said that Roman Reigns was set to win the Chamber match and challenge Goldberg at the main event of WrestleMania. The reason for Reigns being handed the match was not explained. According to rumors, as fans knew Reigns would win the Elimination Chamber match, WWE decided to remove the match entirely.
We will have to see how they book Goldberg vs Roman Reigns for WrestleMania.
