WWE Announces Big Change For WrestleMania 36 Title Match
WrestleMania 36 kicks off tonight with Night 1 of the two-night event. WWE actually filmed WrestleMania last week, and has been threatening to fire anyone that leaks spoilers for the event.
With Night 1 kicking off tonight, WWE made the announcement on the latest episode of The Bump that there is a change to the SmackDown Tag Team Title match that was taking place at WrestleMania. The match will now be a Triple Threat Ladder match between Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, and Jimmy Uso.
WWE filmed a melee segment on last night’s episode of SmackDown on FOX which they attest to the reason for the change to the Smackdown Tag Title match, however the real reason was that The Miz showed up to the taping but wasn’t feeling well. So WWE made the change.
“After last night’s #SmackDown melee, @mikethemiz
is now unable to compete at #WrestleMania.The #TagTeamTitle #TripleThreat #LadderMatch is now
@TheRealMorrison vs. @TrueKofi vs. Jimmy @WWEUsos!”
