WrestleMania 36 saw the NXT Women’s Title on the line for the first time in the PPV’s history, as Rhea Ripley faced off against Charlotte Flair. In the end, Charlotte was able to defeat Ripley and became the two time NXT Women’s Champion.
It now looks as though the NXT Women’s Championship will be defended across all brands. According to a report from Alex McCarthy, Charlotte Flair told him that she plans to defend the title across all three brands.
“I just spoke to @MsCharlotteWWE. The new NXT Women’s Champion says she plans to defend the title across all three brands and is excited at the prospect of facing the talented women in NXT.”
It also sounds like the feud between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley is far from over. We will have to see how much of their program will be carried on which brand.
