WWE Reportedly Considered Inviting Select Fans To Attend WrestleMania 36
WWE made the decision to go ahead with WrestleMania 36 and filmed the two-night event from the Performance Center without a live audience.
However, it sounds like there was some discussion at one point to bring select fans to the Performance Center to be part of a small audience.
Chris Adorna, also known as “Ringside Charlie”, recently spoke to Sports Illustrated, where he talked about WWE at one point considering inviting certain fans to attend the WrestleMania taping at the WWE Performance Center.
“A couple of people internally wanted me to come. They even said that if some fans were allowed in, I’d be at the top of the list. So there was definitely talk about the possibility, but with all of the strict guidelines, they were already at capacity for the amount of people they could have in the building. It wasn’t meant to be. If it was possible, I would have been there.”
Watching WrestleMania without an audience was definitely different. Sadly however, with the guidelines in place it wasn’t possible for there to be any fans in attendance for the event.
