For a long time now the Revival have been requesting their release from WWE. They were not granted their release by the company until now.
The company took to Twitter and officially announced that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have been released from their contracts.
Effective today, Friday April 10, 2020, WWE and The Revival have agreed on their immediate release from WWE. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
The two have been unhappy with their position in the company for a long time. Fans also agreed that they were underutilized for most of their time on the WWE main roster.
We will have to see what is in store for the team now. Perhaps they will be signing with AEW in good time.
