Jordan Devlin was unable to travel from the UK to the United States due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Due to this, WWE had to make a difficult decision. The company announced that a tournament will be held in order to determine an interim NXT Cruiserweight champion.
WWE recently revealed the first group of Superstars for the tournament. Now the remaining Superstars have been revealed as well.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, El Hijo del Fantasma, Akira Tozawa, and Gentleman Jack Gallagher will be in Group B of the tournament. Group A consists of Kushida, Drake Maverick, Tony Nese, and Jake Atlas. The tournament will comprise of 8 Superstars, the winner among which surely will become the interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
We will have to see who wins the tournament.
