Lio Rush Possibly Ending Wrestling Career
Lio Rush was among several wrestlers released from WWE on April 15th. Following the release, he has expressed his disinterest in wrestling and he might be done with it altogether.
Rush recently released a new studio album called ”Ever After.” He also took to Twitter and announced that he was selling a lot of ring gear from various stages of his professional wrestling career.
Rush spoke to Fightful, where he said that he is unsure whether he will continue wrestling. It seems due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he might be hanging up his boots permanently. Here is what he said:
Lio Rush told me in our recent interview that his tweet saying that he might not ever again was serious, and that he had been considering stepping away from the ring for a while. With the volatile nature of the world and wrestling, Rush isn’t sure when wrestling will even be back, and if or not he’ll be a part of it.
Lio already had a career in music, but it seems now that might become his main focus. We will have to see what is next for the former WWE Superstar.
